hull mail centre wont be striking on thursday the union messed up and didnt include them in the letter to royal mail

yes they have to list every mail centre with a delivery office in it and yes they missed hull mail center off the list so all mail will just get diverted to hull for them to sort on thursday

Does not make sense, all staff were balloted so surely that takes precidence when i/a is called.

There has been a requirement to make a number of amendments to the action that was originally planned for some of the Functions based in Mail Centres. The offices affected by these changes are listed below for information purposes:

Aberdeen Mail Centre

Birmingham Mail Centre

Bolton Mail Centre

Bournemouth Mail Centre

Bristol Mail Centre

Carlisle Mail Centre

Crewe Mail Centre

East London Mail Centre

Exeter Mail Centre

Glasgow Mail Centre

Gloucester Mail Centre

Hull Mail Centre

Ipswich Mail Centre

Liverpool Mail Centre

Middlesbrough Mail Centre

Nine Elms Mail Centre

Nottingham Mail Centre

Peterborough Mail Centre

Plymouth Mail Centre

Portsmouth Mail Centre

Southend Mail Centre

Swindon Mail Centre

Branches, workplaces and members should note that if their workplace is not contained in the above list, they remain unaffected and are due to take Industrial Action on the days previously scheduled and notified.

All of the Branches that are affected have been contacted by telephone and advised in writing of the amendments to the action to ensure their members can be informed accordingly and there is no misunderstandings.

glasgow mail centre is the exact same as is aberdeen apparently . Alltogether there is four mail centres in the same boat due to incompetence from the CWU hierarchy. Leighton and Crozier must be loving it.......heads should roll at HQ.

They messed up here too but we still got our Thursday after a fight.

As for the 'diverting all mail to Hull' .... HAHA

There are 72 Mail Centres, they'll just leave Hull with their own mail whilst all managers disappear up their own assholes

I know that this is a mistake by HQ but the positive thing is that it has reduced the amount of notice we have had to give RM. A cock-up or a well thought out double-bluff????
