Hiya just wondering if anybody on here knows if its ok to put your own stuff about the dispute on your cwu board at work? we have no rep at the mo and we do get some stuff to put up but just want to do some of my own stuff to put up to make it clearer to people whats going on and try to get more support for strike action,as alot of office worked on the last strike day.
Just making sure i wouldn't get in trouble with management.

can't see how they could stop you really. might be worth getting in touch with area rep first though

My DOM and I have had quite a `battle` over this subject. I have quite some paper work about it, but a Summary would be, Do Not Put anything on the `board that does not have an `CWU header on it`! Sign and date it, ( it should have the Unit/Deputy Reps name on it.) Would advise you not to put up any thing that you/office have made up yourself. Ask the branch to send you the `current material` or copy any LTB from the Union Website. I applaud your attitude, and this may not be the Answer you want, but be careful.

This is strange,there is loads of stuff on ours,managements never touched it.
Never had a problem,some management really are cocks!

There are newspaper reports about oxford on our notice board, however it is good advice to only post official notices signed by reps,this will ensure that no discipline can be thrown your way at any stage.

We have newspaper cuttings and a copy of a "Unison " letter on our board. The only thing that was taken down was a coypy of the picture of Leighton and Crozier as Laurel and Hardy

We've got a notice about a joint CWU, Unison, PCS meeting in Manchester next month. There is acres of space on our noticeboard.

my dom been on 2 weeks holiday and my picture of laurel and hardy is still up on the cwu noticeboard at the moment

Somebody put a poster on ours saying thanks for attending last strike
and to back up the strike and not deliver for 'free'
it was taken down.
Otherwise board isn't touched.
Somebody always tries to stick things round office, but lino always takes em down.
