Bank Holiday Mon

Anybody tell me if my day off falls on the forthcoming bank hol, am I entitled to another day off, also, I just had a weeks annual leave which also fell on Bank Hol Mon, do I get that day back, just need some info before I hit my DOM with it.

Surely you get the annual leave bank holiday back aswell?
Either way keep a definite note of bank holidays owed to you cos your DOM wont exactly go out of his way to remind you.

Just keep a note of the dates but first ask your DOM what your leave entitlement is then you will no whether they are having one over you and if they have or have not been credited back to you.

So basicly, it depends on my office & DOM, I see lots of answers saying YES & NO so im a little confused.

Well it's my day off every Monday. What I usually do is just save my BH days and ask for a weekend off that suits me better, or have a couple of days extra on my holiday.

Your holiday entitlement starts from four and a half week's paid holiday each year, on top of the eight Bank Holidays.

Taken from RM's website. So as long as you get your 8 Bank Holidays a year, then it's all good
