When do we get the £20 (PRO RATA) supplement?

I'm doing a different walk this week, but not all week. If I'm going to get paid for all the door to doors, I'll do them all, but if we get the delivery supplement, I'll only do my share, ie 20% (or 16%?) per day.

Not sure if any of you posties had this but not so long ago i remember the walks being colour coded so to show which households should have been completed on that day !

With floats now getting the same pay off as the rest of us can see problems arrising from this unless a similar sytem is put in place !

Up til now it's been the duty holder that does the door to doors, and claims all the money. Obviously now he's not going to want to do them all himself, so something will have to be worked out, who does what each day. In the past, when the duty holder has been on holiday it's just been a farce. Either no door to doors done at all, or one person doing the all in maybe two days, and claiming the money.

Just count out and deliver 20% per day,Claim 20% on each walk you do,Not sure when we are recieving the crappy suppliment.

As dtd's are to be calculated in workload they will be included in the traffic statistics for the next office revisions and I would think it very unlikely that the delivery supplement replaces payment for dtd deliveries before the revisions are finalised. It is therefore likely that the changes will come in on an office by office basis rather than a wholesale change of payment.

There seems to be some differences around the country in terms of floaters doing DTD. Since 2004 when the 5 day week came in I have allways left 20% for my floaters and with my latest floater they do 100%. However when my floater is not on my delivery on my day off I revert to 80% with 20% for whoever is covering. Most duty holders leave 20% for the floater at my D.O but some do the full 100%.

in my old office it was generally left for the holders and floaters ot sort out
though after the last revision most holders were happy to let the 20% go and now its set for 20% oer day regardless of who is on the duty

I've never known any floaters do any door to doors. When I started and had my own walk for a while I was just told to get them done by friday, any way I pleased. One week my day off was thurs. I'd done most door to doors by wed, but left about a dozen in the frame, thinking the floater would take them if he was going, or just leave them in. Came in fri morning and they'd been taken out and put on top of the frame. Ever since I never left any in the frame, and done them all myself.
Now I'm a floater(or 'spare') I might do a few if they are in the frame and I'm going anyway, just as a favour, but I never do many. Soon of course, we'll all have to do our share.

I used to cover 5 duties.
3 of the duty holders were happy for me to clear as much of their D2D as I liked, so I used to do 2 sets on those walks
The other 2 duty holders went mental if I so much as looked at their D2D even though I was entitled to do 20% of them.
As I was quids in from the other walks it never bothered, me but some people are real tossers.

prob get new D2D payment when we get loads more D2D contracts in so we get about 4 every week for starters!!
