Thats usually a local thing so it would depend on when the different revisions are planned for your office/branch/area.

You don't want a preferenece exercise yet! You'll need to check the agreement but the cap on the 2 year maximum pay off will be temparerally removed under the agreement, just not quite yet (i think october) but you or your colleagues will only benafit if the prefrence exercise has been carried out after that date.

Phase 2) starts on the first of October this year. The 2 year cap doesn't apply then and the only crieteria for selection is seniority.

Phase 2) starts on the first of October this year. The 2 year cap doesn't apply then and the only crieteria for selection is seniority.

when phase 2 comes in will vrs be open to everyone because when phase 1 came in i applied for it i was told it was only open to the big offices in my area so can someone answer me on that subject thanx

Can't say with certainty but i would have thought so. Really depends on wither there will be surpluse staff at your DO after a revision.

Only problem is if there is a shortage of drivers for park & loop.
You could find that Drivers are ring fenced and not allowed VR.

Well if thats what they wanted they should have had it stated in the agreement. it's not, the only selection criteria is seniority.

I think you will find it in the MTS agreement Appendix 5 page 18 Under Skills are not in short supply
b That the employee considered does Not have skills and capabilities which are known to be in short supply or expected to be required within the near future.
