No rep in office, a question...

Hello all

As above a question if you do not have a unit rep, should your area rep look after said office?

Is it his duty to do so seeing he is full time released?

my office is strong (yes strong Dingo) but does not have a rep at this time.

we have been left to our own devices at the moment for some time now, is this right?

All i want is the area rep to come to the office say once a fortnight and ask the members if there are any problems that he needs to speak to the DOM about, is that to much to ask?

can he not do that on a regular basis and stick up a 1 to 1 sheet to show what has been said so people can see something is going on and problems resolved, something they pay for?

Is this something i should expect or am i being unrealistic?

We are losing members fast and it's worring, i'm tired of being told offices are weak, and do not tell me to step up and do something, I was the rep for two years, i stood up and did my bit but was let down by my area beyond belief

In my branch it has allways been the sub area delivery rep who looks after the day to day affairs of D.O's without a rep.

In our area if they is no rep the area rep takes over. They do a Si meeting with managment every fornight. Would be best to get someone to stand as a rep , to keep an eye on management.
