Are there any delivery offices out there that are still pressing ahead with office revisions after the 2010 agreement was ratified???

yea weve just had nights taken out and theyre trialling park and loop in one postcode area soon.

can they do this bearing in mind they are just bolting 2 deliveries together and absorbing the driving duty?

our dsm today has hit us with a cut in hours (400 a month), and changes to peoples duties, i have logged dissagreement but they dont care.

Is this not right then? Are we supposed to be accepting budget driven changes or not?

well Noel McClean in his LTB 386/09 (Ref: 540) Dated: 30/04/2009 does not think so

We have had reports of existing walks bolted together and a van supplied. In some cases the loops are pretty much the whole walk and the van effectively becomes a pouch box on wheels. This is clearly unacceptable. To use this method properly requires an element of detailed planning especially on the loops to be employed. The whole purpose of shared vans is to reduce weight over the shoulder and loops should be as short as reasonably possible.

Milngavie G62 DO had park and loop put in.
It took 8 months and a dedicated team assigned to the office to achieve it. Bolting two deliveries together and supplying a van is NOT acceptable.

Thats what we're trying to do in our office, there was a meeting about it today, so hopefully find out tomorrow on how it went.

we were told today revisions are going ahead in either june or august! and that the duties have already been assigned to each person without any re-pick!! the re-pick apparently will come in a years time!! can they do this?
