DSA Election Material

Ok so this may have been mentioned elsewhere but weve been getting heaps of Lib Dem election crap via DSA.

Weve looked at the current agreement and it says NOTHING about DSA, only that election material that is addressed is 3 days @ 4.2p and unaddressed is 5 days @ 3.0p

Management are refusing to pay us for DSA election material as they say it falls outside the scope of the agreement. Also, as some material came in today it doesnt give us the agreed time to do them.

Are we been short changed/done over?

is it marked “ELECTION COMMUNICATION” as thats the only stuff covered.

It can be confusing as apparently each party duly registered is allowed 1 item (per registered voter IIRC) of election communication delivered free but there is no limit too how many they can send through the post. We only get paid for the free one and unfortunately not the paid ones.

As a validly nominated candidate you will be entitled to free postage for one election communication to electors in your constituency.
You should contact a universal service provider such as Royal Mail to make arrangements.

If it comes in DSA you prob wont get paid.

Some did get paid early on and fair credit the them.

Yes, Mclovin, same with us - queried DSA Lib Dem stuff with DIM DOM and he came back with a 'yes' to being paid for them

I dread a result with no overall majority for any party - there is always the risk of another election and I don't want to be delivering all that crap again any time soon!

Dont worry about it. Next time around it will probably be classed as normal workload or bloody D2D. So no extra payments.
