My blob and I

Post by motherhubbard »

At WTLL today the DOM said we were moving to 4hr deliveries and every walk had to have one designated toilet facility.
I asked him what I should do if I had my blob and it was really heavy, because believe you me, one toilet facility on a 4hr walk ain't gonna be enough.
He just looked embarrassed and said he would talk to me after but I wasn't impressed.
Are there any proper guidelines for a female OPG who has got her period?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I first overheard this word used over 25 years ago by a teenager who "wasn't getting any cos his bird had her blob"
We were standing on the tube platform at Finsbury Park and I was so appalled I felt like pushing the little twat under the oncoming train.
Since then however I have decided to reclaim the word much in the same way that homosexuals have reclaimed the word "gay".
And I will use whatever word I like to describe my period, and if some prissy little boy doesn't like it he can go f**k himself.

When i had a really bad case of the squits last year i was allowed to stay inside to be near the toilet :left:

I cant see any of our female staff wanting to bring attention to themselves by the same offer but you have a good point as 4 hours is a long time.

Well done for bringing it up at WTL :Applause :Applause :Applause

And here was me thought that it wasn't up to the DOM to decide what the delivery specification was going to be in an office but was according to the spirit of the agreement by the will of the office.

I completely agree. It's not nice being on delivery at that time of the month. Plus, it's embarrassing speaking to your DOM about it.

Also, you don't want to be seen as a feak and weeble woman who cries off just cos it's "that time of the month". However, unless you've experience heavy and extremely painful menstruation, then you wouldn't really understand.

Thank God for Depo-provera that's all I can say! A little prick in my bum every 12 weeks and job's a goodun....  :chuckle
