hi there..

Im getting worried now as i read somewhere that to qualify for the £400 bonus you have to have been employed my royal mail for over a year, im only on a 24hr contract of which i started November 2009, so can anyone tell me if i will qualify or not??.. obviously it will only be £240 if i can as its pro/rata.

My understanding is yes you do . Previously you would not have, but the union got all employees the new payment.

And not even just £240 the union had a cunning plan in the agreement and hoodwinked RM they will be speaking to Roger Poole to get you the full £400 as per wording of agreement

Can you show me that in text, as someone asked me, and my DOM told me it was colleage share money, and it's not clear from the agreement text who will get get the £400 or where it comes from, it would be nice to go in Tuesday and report that if you were
employed from a certain date you will get some dosh.

As it happens I was just going through the agreement again, trying to nail down what I can use to our advantage (if anything), ready for future battles, which in our office are fast approaching

But your qoute still doesn't make it clear, the agreement seems to interchange 'all employee's' with statements from earlier in the document, typicial RM really - says one thing, but means another.

Will be very unfair if you don't as those Full Time employees not on delivery (not having to deliver unlimited D2D as you will have to) get the full payment!
