Why aren't the Managers smiling anymore ?

I've noticed over the last couple of days that our two lino's ahve stopped smiling so much, and they are attending a lot of meetings. now pardon me for being a touch cynical but are they wondering how the bloody hell they are going to get this agreement to work. ?

Rumour in our office are:

that during the summer we will have 19 walks a week to cover

with the D2D supplement starting next week, more people will be cutting off

Walk sequencing has been put off until Feb 2011

Now call me an old cynic, but is it possible that Dave and Billy foresaw s**t like this and knew it couldn't work, and they have actually given RM a good shafting ?

I think you will find they are going to have to actually manage.Dont forget the majority of managers could not handle being a postman,they thought they were opting for the easy life.OH DEAR.

Surely not when mine are so used to loading us up on a Sat then buggering off home at 10am.

Perhaps they have been told about the redundancies to come from their ranks? Just a thought.

Where I used to work the manager used to get his hands dirty and help out whenever we where busy,now at RM there is very little of that goes on in the area I work anyway.Surely it wouldn't hurt them to help out every now and then would it?

Not sure about wether the D2D supplement starts next week however summer lapsing will be happening from wk10 i expect,
continuation of 2007 agreement, if you lapsed last year, the message for this is the same plus more due to an expected further
5% traffic decline on last year, however i have been informed this is currently 8%
