MC was not part of the delivery framework section and as he is a officer and not PEC he does not vote on the agreement being put to the mbrs.

It is for distribution and processing to judge his work, Im interested to hear their views on MC

How odd, I thought Bob Gibson outdoor secretary and Bob and a couple of PEC mbrs dealt with the delivery framework

Martin is not exactly a spring chicken, retirement is hardly a surprise.

More interesting is that processing and distribution will assuming there is more than one candidate get to vote ona replacement.

Daz who says the job will be filled with the state of union finances and futher jobs losses going forward. There has been a disire to change the Postal Department for some time and maybe Martin retiring will be the catalyst for this.

Martin is not after any Labour seat and you got it wrong about Billy and Dave. Yes Johnson jumped ship in 97 but that was only because he had lost the employee agenda debate with the union.

Well done on the retirement at least he doesn`t have to work another two years at least before he gets a pension.
