I went out on strike to change working conditions for the better.My manager was doing what ever he wanted without any involvment of the union and postmen.
All through the period of calm he was testing walks and telling us how he was going to implement his cuts.
He told us Tuesday that we would be going from absorbing 2 walks in the office to 6 walks.
Today he is telling the rural deliveries that they will be coming in at 7am and the walk postmen will be pepping the walks for them.
This is on top of taking most of the sorters off to prep part timers walks and lapsed walks aswell.
What happend to discussing and involving the union and employees in decision making!
I did'nt want a pay rise and do'nt care about lump sums I just wanted a fair system and this agreement has made it worse!
My manager will still do what the F**k he wants!

You heard how the Union fought tooth and nail for this agreement
well I say bollocks the Royal Mail TOLD the union what was happening as usual and like little scared kids they accepted the so called "offer"
Cancel all union dues they do nothing for us Cancel thru email or phone the wage dept
