I thought the ballot had been extended?

We were told last week during WTL that the ballot had been extended for an extra week, due to the issues with ballot papers being held up? Surely, that means it shouldn't have closed until the 30th?

Maybe I misheard?

Don't be. Some Managers tried it on, by claiming that the deadline had been extended again for a week. So that's probably what happened in your WTL. Hi everyone,we have just been briefed from management that "due to low returns from delivery offices the ballot has been extended for i week". The union rep didnt deny or confirm this , or even explain how management could know this information. Has anyone else heard anything,ps, nottingham mail center.postie..

There's been no LTB saying that the deadline has been extended again. Your Manager is trying it on. Presumably your Manager is hoping that people will miss the deadline, if they think it's been extended. Ignore him/her.
