My manager has just announced that for ten weeks in the summer we have to absorb six walks in our office.SO THE SH*T STARTS!

Well...it is and it isn't since now you will no longer be able to say that you have a nationally agreed 3.5hr max delivery span and are unable to perform lapsing.

Can only work to my time,no good will from me. 
Yes i know with this agreement there is no delivery span, but i will still bring back anything i can't do in my time, be it a pouch load, or one letter.

We got told this today at our WTL, we have been asorbing two walks during the winter months.
But we argued it and they are going to check the traffic figs,
Can we ask for a manual count as I am sure they can rig the traffic?
Any advice would be appreciated

The MAX delivery span is gone now POSTMAN your duty span may not change until the revision but the maximum time you can spend on the street is no longer 3.5hrs.
So basically if you have spare capacity in your duty time you can be asked to absorb.
This means that spare indoor workload time can now be moved into outdoor workload.
