Enough said on that subject.
My sole dilemma now is whether I leave the CWU or not.
I personally think I will need them now more than ever because of the very deal THEY negotiated.
How ironic.
Yes we the CWU hierarchy have negotiated a rather pathetic deal for you, our paying members and yes you'll need your local rep more than ever when it's voted in.
I have had to pay for the privilege of a pay cut, more work and a later Saturday. I now feel I have to pay to have insurance just in case something in the agreement could be used against me. Absolutely laughable.
I absolutely despise the CWU for the way they have treated their members. Yet they are all I have when management are on power crusades.
So I either leave the CWU to show my disgust at the way they have treated me and take a chance I won't need them if management try and screw me over.
Or I can continue to reward the CWU for getting me a pay cut, a bigger workload and a longer Saturday and take a chance if I need them when management try and screw me over that they just might fight for me.
Like I say a rock and one very ****ing hard place.
