I'll see what, if anything, my unit rep can salvage from this mess, but the minute I hear talk of my office having to work later on a Saturday, I'm cancelling my subs.
In fact, the first time I recieve more than three lots of D2D shyte for the week, I'm cancelling my subs.
It's only sheer willpower that is stopping me from cancelling my subs right at this moment, a sad moment for all posties on deliveries.

Well,i believe Royal Mail is going to now embark upon the biggest blunder in its history,with this new way of working they are going to bring in.
I guess one winner in all of this will be the cycle shops...As thousands of postal workers que up to purchase a bike to get to work on ...Once the RM Bike is handed in.

The Way Forward, Pay and Modernisation and now this crock of s**t, I'm fed up with the Top Brass reccommending aggreements that they have no knowledge of, and how it will affect the rest of us.
For me these strikes were not about the money, it was about Bullying & Harrassment, seeing people you've known for years leaving the job, not because they want to, but because they can't take the intimidation anymore, going in the next morning and hearing that old whats his name was out delivering until 7:00pm because he's been threatened with not working hard enough even though his manager refuses to test his walk and he doesn't want to be sacked for Wilful Delay. I don't see anything in this aggreement that will change that.
For 2 days a month they would have to be working side by side with us, know what is expected of us day in day out and to be on the receiving end of some of the s**t we have to take from Royal Mail management.

The one plus about this aggreement is that my Delivery Office has been earmarked to move into a Mail Centre next year, so with my 25yrs I quite fancy having a change, and switch shifts no more early starts and still get my D2D payments.
