And i can not believe that turnout ONLY 50%

117000 ballot papers sent and ONLY 64000 return

THANKS for all those who could not be bothered to send their papers back

THAT ONLY SHOWS WHAT SORT OF PEOPLE WE ARE WORKING WITH

Just remember an important fact at work tomorrow.

Almost half of the people who could have voted, couldn't be @rsed.

So when someone whinges to me about the result tomorrow morning, it'll be at the back of my mind that there's an almost 50/50 chance that the person doing the moaning didn't even vote

I hate to say it, but I have more respect for someone who admits to voting Yes than I do for sombody who didn't bother to vote at all. How can they think they have any right to moan if they didn't even use their vote ?

Turnouts are always poor in any ballot, you had something like 40,000 couldn't be bothered to vote in the strike ballots, not too many complaining then about low turnouts. Its democracy, if people choose not to use their vote more fool them, can't understand it myself but there you go.

spot on but you have to wonder,the letter required a cross at a choice put back in an envelope and posted all free yet nearly 50% COULD BE BOTHERED.

At least 2 people I know thought the voting paper was just more propaganda because of the DVD it contained.
They only opened it when they were later told it contained the ballet paper..
