I agree,but might as well get on with it with an extra £3.01 every week. At least it reduces some of our losses a little bit. As you say though,it's done now and time to get on with it!

3 months ago I was thinking of being the local rep...how things change.

hasty - weve had the piss ripped right oot of us, i never wabnted to be 15 quid a week worse off, i never wanted to work til 3 on a saturday-

if anything, ive been too slow in saving my 3 quid subs, 21 years and the union has done sweet fanny adams for me.

most folk in my office believe we are better off without the union, it cant get any worse now, in the cwu or out, and if saving my 3 quid a week helps get some of the cwu heirarchy out of a cosy job, the better i shall feel.

Sorry i've stood by this union for over 20 years and this is by far the worst result and shows how soft and in the pockets 'Our Union' has become
I know people on here say stick with it we can work from the inside and make it known how we feel,but to be honest if this union had half the balls the union i joined all those years ago then people would not be leaving.A truely disgraceful way to treat people that have lost a lot of money in the long disputes and now face working longer hours less pay and longer saturdays.So in the space of 5 years my finishing time on a saturday has gone from 10am to 12:45 and now i can look forward to a 3pm finish!
