can anyone tell me if they our still dispatching the new royal mail uniform i work in the north west and still havnt had it or have they ran out of money again :shock:

Hi it seems you cannot get an answer my managers phone, email, and get no reply. so with their blessing i have written to higson to remind him of the health & safety policy we have, i want a swift reply or its off to the h&s i go

Ordered last week . It was sent to another DO where i was posted for 3 months last year . THEY sent it out SPECIAL DELIVERY yesterday and I got it today .

Got me cats today,ordered about a month ago,a few weeks back i got shirts and trousers no probs.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Was one of the 1st to order cat boots last sept/oct . Just realised today they were probably sent to the other DO i was sent to and someone half inched them .

This is a bit strange :shock: I ve just tried to order some new Magnums and shirts/trousers etc and have been told they need a managers authorisation. So I asked is there anything I can order myself today? The reply : “oh yes of course there are, (pause) yes some water proof trousers”. :arrrghhh

Its strange because ive never had a problem before ringing in and I am sure its been over a year since I last ordered uniform.

Guess i will have to get my Lino to do it for me. :sad:

The last time i ordered some was told you're only allowed 2 shirts and 2 pairs of trousers every 3 years!!

Its a bit of a joke really. :sad:

I mean they take your pay numberfor I.D and the uniform will only be dispatched to your office address anyway. It used to be fine i would leave it just over a year and re order without a hitch. Its going to take ages now and plenty of reminders to get my lino to do it. :arrrghhh

Just make sure there's a lino near you when you phone in your order :wink:

I think it realy all depends on the strumpet on the other end of the line, Cause some of the guys can get stuff without the linos consent :crazy:

I ordered trousers and Doc boots back in December got the trousers ok no sign of the boots, so ordered boots again in Febuary i waited till the middle of March still no sign of them, so phoned guy says they were on order and should get them by the end of March,i am still waiting. I ordered the Doc's as my manager says i should get them no bother.
