Their members have been offered a pay increase,which is actually a pay reduction for its poorest paid members in real terms.The pay increase has been offered over 3 years and is actually below the rate of inflation.
COSLA are also reluctant to enter into a 3 year deal in this time of financial *(boom or bust?) uncertainty.
This all sounds very familiar,but something seems to be different in the actions of COSLA compared to CWU.Can't put my finger on it.....
