Hi all any other offices having this problem today the stand-in assistant manager had a list of all staff who use private cars on delivery and asked them would they be prepared to drive a van when the changes come in, if the answer was no they were told they would have to move to another office, can they do this and is it in the new agreemant any advice as area rep is of no help.

The agreement does talk about that DRIVING DUTIES WILL BE RESTRICTED TO EXISTING AND VOLUNTEER NEW DRIVING DUTIES AND NON DRIVING DUTIES WILL BE RESTRICTED TO NON -DRIVERS.
Check this thread out...However and you must read the post the union has sercured significant changes to those guidelines which now state THAT DRIVING DUTIES WILL BE RESTRICTED TO EXISTING AND VOLUNTEER NEW DRIVERS.
So you will not be forced to drive.
