We have been told that they are talking about Oxford Mail Centre strike. Strikers meeting will be at Cowley workers club on Monday at 1100hrs. If no go call than this strike must spread to other oxon delivery offices. East Oxford , Headington , Bicester and Royal Mail House ( City centre office ) WILL be out ( on unofficial ) by next Thursday.

thought RM wanted the strike to go regional to invalidate the national ballot , just shows regimented & how little authority these managers really have , if they've to get the big guns from both sides, or has that bitch from the MC gone too far & RM would lose a ET if they sacked that rep.I hate bullies but some women are even worse.

This is dangerous ground as it has been mentioned in other posts and other forums.So Lieghton & Ward are meeting,they have no choice really,the situation is in the public limelight,there'll discuss whatever they need to discuss.This is of course a golden opportunity for RM to esculate the unofficial dispute by diverting Oxfords mail,Dave Ward of course knows this as well,an unofficial nationwide strike will put us on the wrong footing,lets try and not get suckered in to it..............but if we need to support our collegues we obvicously will.

Its of all connected to the main official despute,though i doubt if there'll be any talks about that.Do we know if Hayes & Ward are still meeting the trade and industry mp Monday.

Official or unofficial , after RM puts its own spin on it , supported by the labour party , or new tory as it should be called you can bet we will look the bad guys , so i ask ,, does it matter ??
Lets just win this fight , however we can .
Because loosing it isnt an option .
