help needed

Can anyone tell me if there is anyway in getting a parcel back that was sent with no sender address on the back??? my brother has sent a parcel through the post and hadn't put his name and address on theback, the postie had left a dib card as there was no one home, however he never picked it up from the delivery office and it has now gone to that place in either ireland or that other place where they are aloud to open the item to find a return of address. No one in our office knows and has no phone number to ring to find out. Can any of you guys helps!

Can your brother describe the contents? Unless it was recorded that's the only thing I can think of.

I think it's Belfast unaddressed returns got to,someone will have a contact number.

I think if he phones customer care on 08457 740 740 (8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. 8am - 1pm on Saturdays) and describes what happened, they will log it onto the system and with a description of the packet and its contents if possible.

Then the National Returned Letter Centre (or to Portsmouth for Special Delivery mail and packets, and to Belfast for letters). Will be alerted and will search for the item if located will hopefully send it back.

Thanks for the info, the item was sent recorded delivery so hopefully they will have it listed, i'll let him know.

It used to be option 3.1.5.5 to get to speak to someone on that number too...

Yup, Portsmouth (RPC) was for Packets (hence RPC) and closed maybe 5-8 years ago, it all now goes to Belfast (RLB).
