Arrested for GBH/Attempted murder

Doing a round today, "Police Crime Scene" all round a park area.
Later, saw a CID guy changing out of the white baby grows they wear, then his colleague leading a 17/18yr old to a car with his mother.

Apparently, a lad was talking to a girl last night, and two lads jumped him, kicking him in the head on the floor.
The lad is critical, in intensive care with brain swelling.
Hope he recovers and the scroats get whats coming to 'em.

A few years ago now, on a round I used to do, an old guy was murdered and chopped into pieces. I saw all the cars and vans outside the property and a big sergeant took all the mail for the flat. Told my boss when I got back and he said I shouldn't have handed it over. Told him to take it up with the police and never heard anything else about it.
Society sucks.

Trouble is the youth of today think its tough to beat someone up whilst in a group and nothing will be done about it. I witnessed a fight last year whilst on the school run where some kid was punched to the ground and three other kids were trying to stamp on his head with the crowd shouting "stamp stamp stamp" trying to push them on. Dumb arses.

I witnessed a fight outside a school recently and while i hung about to ensure no-one actually got hurt I was loathe to get involved in case I got charged with assaulting a minor.

I witnessed a fight outside a school recently and while i hung about to ensure no-one actually got hurt I was loathe to get involved in case I got charged with assaulting a minor.

I was in the car with the kids going the other way in slow traffic so i could not do anything. Luckly a couple of dads who were parked up rushed over and broke it up before any real harm got done but it shocked me. The kids in my car did not bat an eye lid at the scene and it was very much "oh yeah your've got to stamp on his head" WTF

Local news says the victim is a 29yr old male, not a teenager. Two arrested lads are 17 and 19yrs old.
Apparently it happened on Sunday night, but the guy became very unwell on Monday, and was rushed to hospital, hence the Police involvement on Tuesday.

Maybe he thought that it was justifed and didn't report it...I don't know, but all in all he's taken quite a beating. Poor bugger.

A few years back one of our younger postman got jumped in Burger King on a sat knight just for looking at this guy "the wrong way" eh?. He was off work for a few weeks but they caught the lad that did it and he got 3 months inside.

I keep phoning Crimestoppers to tell them there is only one common denominator but the bizzies haven't lifted him yet.

Not so much action on rural deliveries, it's just burgled remote houses that we find and report to the police.
