The description as follows

You will be supporting employees who are being un-placed within our company whether looking for a position or taking redundancy. You will support them in a professional and sympathetic manner. The People Change Advisor will be the key person within the business giving advice and support to employees who require counselling for redundancy or re-deployment.

So this is the way forward???????? Employing someone to tell you oh your finishing next week, let me help you out the door ????

What a load of crap.
The imbeciles running this company into the ground, busy themselves getting rid of as many worthwhile jobs as they possibly can, and while employing morons as "People Change Advisers", no wonder this once-great public service is going down the toilet at a rate of knots.

The so called advisors we have had stationed at crewe for the last 6months are a waste of time. They give people NO support and ABSOLUTELY NO useful advice!

All they seem to exist for is to try and bully people into agreeing to transfer to the new white elephant holy grail mailcentre in Warrington, totally ignoring the good reasons why people may not be able to do this. Just yes men there to push the management line.
