d2d next week

if this deal goes through on friday, will we stop being paid for d2d from next week and receive the supplement instead? I'm asking because i,m a part timer, and i'm not prepared to prep d2d's anymore if i'm only going to receive a tenner or something for the privelage under this new agreement . anybody know? :hmmmm

I was told by an ADR it would start,or rather stop straight away.So Mon could be the day.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Cheers postman i thought so.

I can't see my d2d being prepped by a full timer as my frame is rarely fully prepped without d2d. i certainly won't be prepping them anymore.

There is a cooling off period i heard, we are in the 3rd week of 20 weeks.

I am not aware of any cooling off period. I know the Cwu wants to get the supplement in as soon as possible but I don't think it will be from Monday . I think a statement will come out with the relevant dates including when the 400 pounds will be paid.

if 2010 and beyond is ratified -
you will be paid to prep D2D in duty time. . .
you will be paid the £20.60(?) supplement when you are off sick and when on annual leave.

in future years - the £20.60(?) allowance will become part of the pay deal - so will increase with any pay rise,

D2D payments have remained the same for approx 15 years!!
(so eventually, the payment will catch up and overtake the equivalent D2D old style per item system)

True and a fair point but as the average for D2Ds in my DO is around £30 on a 3x week that means my basic pay would have to increase by nearly 50% by then I would be on a basic of around £500 :shock: :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy

Depending on contract Yes - If your contract includes prep and deliver then time will be made in your duty to allow you to do that. It will be also included in traffic and all the other admin processes.

However, please do not confuse the D2D payments with the Delivery Supplement as once and IF the agreement is ratified no one will be paid for D2Ds ever again.

The delivery supplement has nothing to do with D2Ds in the agreement in real terms.

There will be no sudden stoppage of the payments, this is due to the fact that it is agreed they will be built into workload AND
AS OF YET there is still no agreement on work rates :shock:

is that why i got not door to door this week and only having 1 a week for a month :shock: hope they not stock pilling them for when the deal is in :sad:
