Got two on my delivery, there also a code on top for you to enter if you need a signature, but if i have signed fors of any type i still leave a notice left.

Notice left i suppose, but its never happened yet, and by the time RM have finished pushing delivery times further back in the day, soon people will be home from work by the time we get there.

saw this sometime ago contacted makers and suggested he contact leighton at the time which he did, leightons reply rm does not promote others products. this was at the time they were making a big thing of doorstepping. i still recommend it to calls when asked by customers.

Erm.............has anyone thought about the possibility of these new fangled gadgets putting our callers office workers out of a job? And whats the point in them if our callers are going to be open later?? Personally I find it more convenient to have any parcels delivered to my Ma, she's always home and always offers her postie a cuppa when he calls. Besides you can't beat walking past a HUGE queue of fuming customers come Christmas

Hi and thanks for taking a look. We are initially aiming the product at small businesses working from home that receive regular collections, where the convenience makes the cost justifiable. Though to be honest with timed and weekend deliveries costing between £8 - £12, it should also appeal to regular online shoppers receiving multiple deliveries per week. A more cost effective solution for all consumers will be released shortly,

No, such instances of bondage were very rare, my recollection being that many housewives were content with doing the washing, cleaning, shopping and cooking while their husbands were at work and children at school.

Wouldn't mind so much if the depot in Cheltenham was half decent instead of being the size of my garden shed with 2 parking spaces for a population of almost 120,000 people!!!!

Have you officially contacted your local delivery depot by letter, stating this parcelsafe box is to be treated as a "Safeplace"? Even then, the item must state to use the safeplace on the packaging.

While a mail item is travelling through the "Royal Mail conveyor belt," the sender is who Royal mail answer to if problems arise, so regardless of what any customer says or writes we are supposed to comply with protocol i.e. follow the wishes of the sender. No special instructions on item, then the item should either be posted through the letterbox or the postie should knock on the door for oversized items and/or items requiring a signature.

These days failure to comply with the above can easily lead to disciplinary action which may lead to dismissal. The only exception I know of is that some areas are trialling an official "leave things with neighbours", but until that goes nationwide...
