WINNERS AND LOSERS??

Post by wf »

WINNERS AND LOSERS, WHAT SORT OF TALK IS THIS IN THE DEAL??
IS IT NOT BECAUSE THERE IS WINNERS AND LOSERS WE ARE IN THE MESS WE ARE IN?
HAVING WATCHED AND BEEN BULLIED FOR SO MANY YEARS,I THINK THIS IS TOTALLY THE WRONG THING FOR THE
UNION TO COME OUT WITH!!
THERE BEEN WINNERS FOR YEARS,WHO HAVE BOOT LICKED ,SLEPT WITH MANAGERS,USED THEIR CARS,NEVER TOOK
A BREAK.GOT ALL THE EASY DUTIES ,TIME OFF WHEN THEY WANTED.YOU GET THE PICTURE
THEN THE LOSERS,THOSE WHO WENT BY WHAT THE UNION SAID TO A LETTER,NO CARS,TOOK BREAKS ,NO OVER WEIGHT
BAGS,CUTTING OFF ETC.WHO HAVE NEVER ENJOYED THE PERKS OF THE BALL LICKERS,CANT GET TIME OFF,FOLLOWED ROUND
DELIVERIES,THREATENED WITH CONDUCT ISSUES FOR NO REASON

NOW WE HAVE THE UNION CONDONING IT!
LOSER IF YOUR PART TIME
WINNER IF YOU HAVE NO HOUSEHOLDS AND STILL GETTING 20.50!!
THING CAN ONLY GET WORSE WITH TALK LIKE THAT.
SORRY LOSER HERES YOUR 6HOUR DELIVERY,6 DOOR TO DOORS.

A TOTAL LICENCE TO BULLY,THANKS CWU

Moved in with Buzz, and there's no need to shout,we're with ya dude,we're with ya.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If this thing happens to get through, there will obviously be a meeting with the rep and DOM at some point.Perhaps include the line managers at the initial stage ? If this deal requires change, and that is what the "big message" is,then it should apply to all.

OK,some were not happy with the spin, but some of it could work to those "who just take orders".You might even gain a bit of respect from them by you getting them in there. At least it shows them that we are here to make this work, are you up for it?

Perhaps they need a bit of educating on BSi being based on the magic 3 "Fatigue,Stress & Motivation" and not Budget,as ACAS have agreed.

Also what was pin pointed in the National Agreement was that any move the business makes will fail if the workforce are not onboard. This was Roger Poole's words, not ours.

Budgets will be a contentious issue, however state that in any form is the word "budget" mentioned in the National Agreement.

Also that any move away from the policy of the National Agreement is to be reported to Mr Higson immediatly via the area/divisional rep.

Could anyone imagine Bob Crowe saying to his members " Sorry people, there are going to be winners and losers in this deal" ?
I think not!
Can I join ASLEF, please?

Winners and losers.
No union should ever put a deal before it's members that splits them into two camps.
With the magnificent support the members have given to the CWU, all postal workers should be winners, and there certainly shouldn't be any losers.

Is there any chance that as a loser, ( amount I earn over the last couple of years isn't keeping up with inflation, etc, plus already earning more from 3 d2ds a week now than I will if agreement comes in, plus my £10 pro rata'd ESA ).....?

........Nah, thought not - gotta keep Billy, Dave, the FT officials & the PEC in the style to which they have become accustomed :cuppa
