i no this issue is getting rather boring, but im one of the unlucky ones at the moment who aint getting paid for there poll cards.dom says no payment ,area rep agrees ,no response from hq,so my next question is where do i go next .i keep readng on this site that the top brass are getting involved but r they really, or do they hope that the whole issue s just going to go away.Well i no for a fact that if this issue aint sorted there going to be a few of us who will be saving 150 quid a year in subs

these polling cards - do we get paid per house or per person? My line manager says it's per house (drop) plus 25%, while some of the chaps were insisting it was per person.
Its particularly relevent to me as I deliver to student accom where its not unusual to have 6/7 people to a house.

We had it it confirmed this morning that if election material has been prepaid then you dont get paid anything. Those that are getting paid is because the material hasn't been put through the system.

Gly the payment is for per polling card i had to correct our dim on this one when he gave a brief on the payment at first he tried to make out we were getting paid 5p per house no sorry its 5p per polling card and ive had 5-6 cards per house on my walk

I am quite chuffed for once as we have gone from bugger all to 6p per poll card

So yes you should be getting paid.

just a quick update,went in to moan at the dom again this morning and to tell him i would be taking things further,regarding this poll card situation,but before i had chance to say anything ,he said that he,d been told unoffically that we would be being paid and it was all down to some meeting between the union and royal mail management on friday.So hears hoping this is true and he aint just yanking my chain.

3p per card for us. We had to count the cards and claim. Nearly 1000 for me. As there's no record of how many cards each house got, just how many cards in total we delivered, it will be per card.

we havent got our polling cards yet in northern ireland, or any election material, however the 20% of us militants might win the payment for the other 80% cowards and S**bs combined who have never stopped getting money off our backs since the big 3 week strike
