Mandelson might have been speaking the truth when he claimed that his plans to introduce a private partnership had to be put on hold because he couldn't find a taker (for RM).

At the time, we all thought it was because he had been given a spanking by the back benchers. However, what if he was telling the truth and this proposed agreement is about reducing terms and conditions to attract a private partner?

Blame our union, the committed to getting assurances about our pension before accepting a deal but they back-tracked. Maybe a campaign to get Hayes and Ward out.

Well according to Dave Ward if we say Yes to this agreement it will put us in a strong position to sort out the pension - how I hear you ask - well he didn't say how or why it put us in a strong position considering the Labour Party is likely to lose the election and Dave Ward would probably be as welcome as a skunk at a wedding by the Tories.
