As a fairly new CSS operator, myself, and colleagues are still in the dark about the new deal we`re expected to vote on.
Basically, our union is saying we will be getting the £20.00 D2D supplement, but managers are saying no we wont, only the £8.00 early shift replacement allowance.
Does anybody know exactly what we will be getting ?? Any other night shift CSS operators having the same problem trying to find an answer ???

Its not a D2D supplement its a delivery supplement. My understanding of it is that people in delivery are the only ones getting the 20.60.

Just think of all the "Admin" staff RM rope in at Christmas......can just see a DOM now.............."Here you go............A bag of mail (prepped etc by F/T staff).....and a map, now off you go!"

Thank you POSTMAN. Yes, we are tagged to a Delivery office, and, indeed, ive read the paragraph in the agreement which states this.
Ill go further, and suggest that as we will be handling D2Ds (there are plans to have D2Ds put thru the sequence machines). We will also be expected to prep them into walks if we have time within our duties, so the idea that we wont even see a D2D leaflet is nonsense. Seems the biggest winners are PHGs.
