Maybe Mandelson wasn't lying

Post by MinisterofCucumber »

Mandelson might have been speaking the truth when he claimed that his plans to introduce a private partnership had to be put on hold because he couldn't find a taker (for RM).

At the time, we all thought it was because he had been given a spanking by the back benchers. However, what if he was telling the truth and this proposed agreement is about reducing terms and conditions to attract a private partner?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Blame our union, the committed to getting assurances about our pension before accepting a deal but they back-tracked. Maybe a campaign to get Hayes and Ward out.

Well according to Dave Ward if we say Yes to this agreement it will put us in a strong position to sort out the pension - how I hear you ask - well he didn't say how or why it put us in a strong position considering the Labour Party is likely to lose the election and Dave Ward would probably be as welcome as a skunk at a wedding by the Tories.

If you can hold your water NT - I'll find it, eventually. Make no mistake he either said it in one of his speeches or it was in a letter.

Thank you ft you've saved my bacon again - not soon enough to stop me watching that DVD unfortunately - I thought I wasn't imagining things, though I sometimes do, ah those grass skirted beauties on those white sandy beaches serving me with all sorts of exotic fruits........................... NT won't get a ballot paper because the CWU don't like him. :whistle
