Yes wins 4 to 1 ???

Told by area rep today it will be a yes vote by 4 to 1. Can't believe this myself though,Just can't see 80% voting yes.in my office all the staff are saying there voting no.

I think he has used the "finger in the air" method of guestimating the result.

Basically he has been told what branches are recommending a Yes or a NO and taking into account some will follow the branch recommendation and some wont he has plucked a number out of the aether. This time he chose 80%/20%.

80% though seems quite high to me that's even more that the result for National Strike action last year. I think the winning margin could be as low as 2% or 4% (48%/52%) but probably not higher than than 30% (65%/35%). My guess is about 60%/40% on a 55% turnout
