Seniority on transfer

If you transfer to another location, do you still retain your seniority as per way forward agreement ?

can anyone verify for me please thanks.

When i transferred 6 yrs ago I took my senirority with me which was a smaller office from one I came from and moved up the ladder to quite a high position. I was also part time at time of transfer, but i have now been on RM 21yrs

you should do!
however, that doesn't mean you get to choose what duty you get when you transfer.
it may mean that you move to a duty that is regarded as less desireable
(for arguments sake - a nightmare of a walk - lots of stairs etc, etc,)

but come a resign or duty vacancy, your overall seniority will be taken into account should you apply for another duty/vacancy, but in the case of applying for a vacancy - i think you have to wait for 12 months on each duty before you can apply for a different duty.
