ho ho, another "vote yes and you're doomed". Nice try. I have a suspicion that RMC is being taken for a ride by the SWP, either that or it'll soon need renaming to royalmailwhingers.co.uk :cuppa

See it comments like that brother that gets the backs up of your fellow colleagues that do actually work 8 hours, and the introduction of unlimited D2D items for less money with the removal of there early shift allowance, this is why RM and CWU have worked hard over the years to internally part privitise royal mail by throwing to one side national agreements which we should all be abiding by and consentrating more on local agreements for finanical reasons to benefit the few.
My vote is what I believe I should do, however I can see how some may feel grieved while others believe with the introduction of unlimited D2D means that royal mail are running an open docket policy.
I believe employees (i have to include non CWU members) have lost sight that duties do not belong to them they belong to royal mail and if members vote for change then they are not only taking more cherries given to them by the CWU because the contents on there current duties are minimal, but the are disrepecting fellow future employees.
The only ones who protentionally are going to vote this strange worded agreement in are those across the country who are waiting for EVR and those who do not get the early shift allowance. the percentage of those who knows, I believe mail centers, delivery offices and network should have individual ballots and not incorperated ones.

Not being nasty but TBH I cant wait till all MCs Posties have to work as Hard as DO Posties. I spent 2 days at our feeding MC a year back and it looked as though some on the machines had to be octopuses to keep up with their work. Whilst on other machines and in the manual sorting areas some were going very slow. In fact I was told to slow down as I was sorting too fast and I wasn't even close to the speed I do IPS at in my DO as it was a different set up.

Other people have mentioned it to me as well, even MC posties, that MC and DO are two different worlds. Mind you I have always suggested that at some point in the first 5 years or so of someone's time at RM it would be worth them spending some time in each others Unit. It would help both types of Unit understand the problems each other face and could help us become more efficient and faster reacting. :hmmmm

A brilliant idea, a bit like those TV prigrammes where an eminent tory politician spends a week as a single mum. :nana :nana

Ballot paper arrived today, along with CWU rhetoric advising me to vote yes, do you know I actually sat and listened to Dave Wards lies for about half an nour before i consigned the DVD to scare pigeons off me beans.

Duly filled in ballot paper with two crosses in the no boxes,

No - read the rest of the post.

Did you post that sentence or not? If you did, did you mean it in some way other than how it looks? Looks pretty unequivocal to me, and didn't appear to have it's meaning changed by anything subsequent to it.
You best go for a lie down now, you need your sleep ready for another hard day at t'office tomorrow... :chuckle whereas us MCers are off for a night out.
