Complaint about ballot launched

I sent this to Billy Hayes:

"Hello Billy,

I hope you are well and enjoying the Spring sunshine.

I regret to inform you that the ballot arrangements for the proposed agreement are out of order.

Non-letters staff are being balloted on the proposed changes to MtSF but are not being balloted on the proposed introduction of groupwide performance standards.

The proposed agreement clearly states that World Class Performance will be introduced and this includes raising productivity:

"to bring everybody's actual performance up to the level of the top 10 per cent performance consistent with good employment policy, appropriate equipment, safe working practises and consistent with national agreements".

Please will you amend the ballot so that members get a chance to vote on changes that will affect them.

Can you indicate clearly where this is in 210 and beyond, I see no mention of it.

Will World Class performance standards only apply to Letters?

Please do, because I have seen nothing that states WCM applies to PF POL and GLS and if it does apply then why has that been set out clearly and transparently for all to see.

You might want to enquire with Terry Pullinger and Andy Furey as well.

Mate,I have union members on my duty and I only delivered their pravda,sorry cwu leaflet yesterday.

An 80 page document condensed into a snappy group of soundbites that they can't even get out before the ballot date.

I have always got a prompt reply from Peter Walls but you are right about Andy Furey. The union is not obliged to treat us fairly in the way that RM is. This is one of the union's main selling points in its bid to be RM's enforcer.

Billy Hayes (£84.000 per year) doesnt give a toss what you want.
When we go on strike(we lose money he doesnt) he gets his fat face on T.V. and feels important, likewise when this agreement gets voted in he will be there again, no doubt bragging that this government, which he and and his executive give 2 million quid a year of OUR money to, are the only government they could do such a deal with.
Remember this government,twice we have called industrial action and twice they have publicly failed to back us.
Just remember ,keep your nose clean and you wont be in disciplinary trouble so dont need a union.
And have an accident,just watch Channel 4 in the afternoon(if you get home by then once this pile of cack has come in)
and there will be no end of ex Eastenders actors just waitin to help you.
