Ive been 30 hours since September 2007 and habve no real desire to go back FT, although if the magic 35 hour week and 400 basic come along I may change my mind.

Aye, and Dave Ward said the union's primary goal is to save FULL TIME jobs. So does that mean part timers do not get the unions attention?

Word on here is that with the new revision tools there could be some PTers made up,but you're right possibly that there has been no 'official' comms on it except perhaps the odd branch or div.

im physically exhausted after my walk no lies.

i cant even bare to go out the door again most nights.

the cwu has protected full time jobs and conditions at the cost of part timers payments + conditions becoming UNBEARABLE

I really now am forced to find another job with more money .

And where is the incentive for full timers to go part time with this on the table.

No pro-rata means that even if a part-timer works full time hours, he still only gets part-time pay for his d2d. This is now effectively a 2-tier workforce. What gets me is that either the union didn't realise the implications of this - in which case they are forgiven and they have to go back to the negotiating table to sort it out - or they did, and they have made a deliberate calculation to split the workforce, choosing to secure full-time jobs at the expense of part-timers' status.

yes that was is gonna happen if yes vote go through

CWU and RM management screw PART TIMERS over with D2D and put unsustainable workload and disgracefully discriminatory condition (pro rata payment for same amount of D2D as full timers)
they probably will expect to deliver all D2D within current contractual hours (25 in my case) and they will find expaination that all that super duper automatic machinery saving so much time that we should be still manage to do far more within 25hrs - this is attitiude of my DOM at least

I think thats exactly what the CWU have done. The CWU have said themselves that they don't want the workforce replaced with part time workers and this agreement protects fulltime jobs. The D2D agreement is so unfair and If the agreement goes through then I will not allow myself to go over my time due to door to doors, they will sit in the depo if I can't finish on my time.

To coincide with the introduction of the national agreement unit payments will cease and the 3 items per week cap will be removed. D2D Monies will be turned into a delivery supplement paid 52 weeks a year for all delivery employees (OPG and ORR) pro rata for part time employees.

This is my number one reason to vote NO Just can't believe the cheek of the cwu...
