Will the Union Reps be working Saturday?

The more staff on Saturday, the more chance everyone has of working less hours, or the day off.
If not, why not?
Local Reps are not under as much pressure now due to this crap Union idea of 'work your hours'
If you have a problem it's the same old story .. just do your hours.
As the Union keeps telling us things have to change (which we all know) , so now it is time for them to change for all of us.

Unless your batch of work is right at the end of the walk sequencing then the you will not be working till 3pm. The agreement states THE VAST MAJORITY OF LETTER DELIVERIES ARE PLANNED TO BE COMPLETED BY 14.30 WITH MOST BY 1400 HOURS.

What you are saying is it will be acceptable and possible NOT to work your paid hours on a saturday.
Surely this will take us back to the old "How can you clear the same mail quicker on a saturday than any other day" argument.
An argument you yourself have used to justify saturday as a normal working day in the first place.

No fishtank some duties will be scheduled to finish at 2 and some at 2.30 and some at 3. I never agrgue for people not to work their hours. The point is if your office is the unit which houses the walk sequencing machines your not going to wait until every batch has been done before you take your work are you ? Duties will be scheduled based on their attendaces and when they recieve their workload.

No fishtank some duties will be scheduled to finish at 2 and some at 2.30 and some at 3. I never agrgue for people not to work their hours. The point is if your office is the unit which houses the walk sequencing machines your not going to wait until every batch has been done before you take your work are you ? Duties will be scheduled based on their attendaces and when they recieve their workload.

The point is dingo,duties WILL be scheduled based on their attendances and when they recieve their workload using EXACTLY the same parameters as Mon-Fri.
That is after all the whole basis of a six day workplan.
So if you are scheduled to finish at 3pm on a friday you will be scheduled to finish at 3pm on a saturday and no amount of fast-tracking will change that ATTENDANCE time.
