What's been gained = not alot! What;s been lost=£120! I have to explain to must of my custumers what it is all about :mad But i think the next course of strike action will start to make certain people sit up and listen to what this is all about? I don't think we our getting very good press coverage at the moment. :so there

1) A well informed workforce that now knows how badly some of their colleagues are being treated around the country.
2) A better understanding of the concept of brotherly love.
3) A growing intolerance of idiots in suits.
4) A qualification in distinguishing bullshit from almost anything it tries to disguise itself as.
5) A pride in working for and defending a service under siege from profiteering chancers.

Would anyone care to add to the above?

Well said Comrade!

I would add a growing solidarity between the rank and file of the CWU and those in other public sector unions, which is why Frank Hont, regional secretary of Unison will be addressing the rally in Liverpool tomorrow.

the strike has stopped them from implementing their stupid summer plan in our office this was going to be the daftest revision i can think of in the 30 odd years in the post office.
the strike is about the fact these 2 people sitting in their ivory towers think they can fart us about from pillar to post whenever they feel like it.
the union are fighting the toughest battle they have ever had to face, the last thing they need is posties mumping and moaning about losing £60 when we could lose 40-000 jobs on top of everything else

By not answering to any of these replies it is obvious he is on a wind up mission.
I think it's pretty pathetic.
Grow up mate.
