Royal mail will do what they want anyway so we might as well get the lump sum and let it all go pear shaped cause the managers in my office aint got a clue, it takes them all their time to stop surfing the web and playing golf on the computers

It ain't going to be a 'Lump Sum' its broken up into little chunks spread out, why would you want to be shafted for money that you were already entitled to?

everyone in our office is just fed up all senior men are queuing up for evr, it only takes two people to go sick and the whole place falls apart so if they bring the cdvs in and what ever else it wont make a difference

Whats going to happen in four weeks time when david cameron is prime minister and we voted no. We will have nothing no agreement no job no future no royal mail, it winds me up that in our office all the workers during the strikes say vote no what they expect me to lose more money for them as if we vote no they will still work and work their day of on strike days give it a rest and get a backbone this is the best we will get and any one who thinks a no vote will help us are deluded.

I think you'll find Brown and his ministers esp Mandelson want to do just as much as Cameron does to RM re: privitisation. They are one and the same so why are worry about a Tory government? No difference.

tell you what, theres a hard core of about a couple o hunner " vote no" boys on here, and thats about it.
Its a stone waller the yes vote will go through, ive no doubt about it, when you take in all the pissy wee offices, the rural offices that are trod on year in year out, the thousands that dont ever come on here, those on here that are voting yes, any the army of cwu members who wont even vote, or worse, will, when the ballot comes out- ask-whats this for!!!

My area rep is going about proposing a yes to the deal, and i bet its the same all over the country,us typewriter terrorists have no chance i reckon.

Sometimes i think, ive seen it all before, and then i think,money talks, regardless of the deal, money wins every time.

What do you reckons gonna happen if a no vote is returned, royal mail renegotiates- no chance, implement what they want on their conditions, and were back to executive action, the runners still run, the part timers fight for 2 hours docket, and the car boys get out the door an hour early, finished 2 hours early.

In a way , a yes vote will put an end to all this,if your rep is strong.

Every thread on here seems to be the same one, rephrased with the usual bods hoping that if they say NO enough, it might rub off. Those that do want to vote YES don't bother posting after a while or won't come on here anyway, which leaves a minority pinning its hopes on polls that are totally meaningless.

You can say that but I've asked loads of people in our DO and not one has said they will vote Yes. Even our DOM thinks it's a crap deal.

I have still to find anyone who admits to voting yes in the way forward or pay and mod....... somebody must have.

what someone says to their colleagues can be very different to what they say in the home with their partner as they cross the box.

Plus the comms from the union with the ballot paper are vital as its the last thing you see before voting
