Union Members Morale Getting Low

Post by Cybitech »

After the announcement of the next strike days, there's quite a few of the Union members from our office thinking of actually going in on the strike days, purely because, and to quote them 'We've got mortgages and bills and can't afford it'.

What's the general feeling in other offices and other parts of the country, i'd be interested in finding out ?

Maybe the union should get a video or dvd produce, sort of like the 'No Bullshit' dvd's that so called lamebrain and dozier had made, to keep the union members morale up

There are a couple of moaners in my office but they have been at it from the start. One of them going on about having voted against strike action so doesn't see why he should have to loose pay. Ironically he lost his job a few years ago due to the amount of absences he had but with the unions help was reinstated. There will always be selfish ones and there will always be strike breakers. The support for strike action in my unit is high, no one has crossed the picket line yet and I don't think anyone will.

Despite what RM keep saying the strikes are hurting them, Quality of service is falling each week and we must stick together and see this through for the future of our jobs and the company (They seem to forget that we do actually enjoy the job and the company we work for, we just want to be treated fairly)

Keep the faith

The latest tactic according to S***m*** is the "scandal" of the Parcelforce Executive Officer doing a coup / challenge for DGS to get rid of Ward. :lfo

:no no dont know where your coming from with that statement, after just two walkouts you say that some of your comrades are finding it hard, well let me remind you what they will be asked to do by thier careing employer. absorbe sickies, at no extra payement, up to 5 walks converted into 3, at no extra payement, d2d payements to be capped, election payements to be scraped, later start times with the loss of early shift payements, i could go on but surely i have made my point remember theres no gain without some pain STAY STRONG & WIN THIS OMWARDS AND UPWARDS

I don't need a video to remind me these bastards will grind us into the floor every opportunity they get. If it wasn't this pair of parasites it would be someone else, BUT if anyone is thinking of scabbing, they'll be letting future generations of workers down and they aren't fit to inherit the same planet as there fine people:

Morale still very high in our Office most people are just feed up with the way R/M wants to treat us all. And now for the even better news (IWW Fellow Worker will just love this) Two of those people, you know who (S****) who went in, well they are off `sick`. Now I by nature am not a vindictive person, But bloody good job. They seem to be citing `stress`, well they brought in on themselves?. And what about the stress the rest of us have had to endure, taking on those 2 Main Pratt's. Come on everybody KEEP THE FAITH
