When will I recieve the new agreeement

I was wondering if the ballot is suppose to take place from April 9th and is approc 80 pages long.

How am I suppose to read it all if I have not recieved it yet and neither has anyone in our office.

Is like it all over, or has anyone recieved the agreement yet?

yes we see a copy today in essex what aload of crap . they are really trying to sell it to us as a great deal and how much great work the union have done for us to get this deal and how bad it would of been had the union not got us this. definately voting no . the whole thing is royal mail downgrading the job into part time like in holland . been saying this for a few years now

No Holland is 75% part time,25% full time. This one says 75% full time and 25% part time. This is because everything is sequenced in Holland as it will be us.However there is a deal there that will trap 75% full time.

Whats frightening is this deal is only sculpted for 3 years. RM modernisation is a 5 year plan.
You can bet your ass RM will come back for more in years 4+5 and the CWU will once again get out the vaseline.

Trouble is there wont be any terms and conditions to erode next time cause theyre all gone in this one..

You have forgotten the pension issue. Now Mandelson has already backed down on this a s he has stated,"I won't address the pension issue yet as although the CWU are attempting to modernise,there is a rumour of a no vote"

Bear this in mind. If the pension issue is sorted,we are back in profit.

The goverment also needs to re-address the DSA problem.Trouble is the European competitors will take the business and the goverment to court.They already tried,(and failed),to get us to pay VAT,(in which the business does not).

There was a meeting with him and Billy Hayes and Dave Ward after the PEC had endorsed the agreement.CWU HQ confirmed this at this on the 26th March

No reason why some of it cant be on notice boards

Ive put MTSF Reward and Delivery framework up along with DTD slides printouts.

I even printed out copies of the whole document and given to a few members.

why as it's such a good deal has this deal been shorted to two pages team brieded by the managment with the odd rep backing them up?

Because it falls short of what we stood on the street for, a huge disapointment in my opinion

I will Never forget the PEC version of the agreement went up here on Saturday,(the official one went out on Monday). RMC were told to take it off.They did. However I had downloaded already and put it on Media Fire.However this was only given to people on our office mailing list. A Famous author on our list put it back up.The result ? 6000 downloads in 12 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got some info,at the London briefing one rep was not happy that the reps only had one day to view the agreement before the Bournemouth briefing.

Dave Ward incredibly said that the agreement was online on 'a website' the week before.

I am on Annual leave from saturday and all next week and will not have access to a computer and obviously will not be in work so will not be able to read any part of the agreement if it is on our board

So personally I think it is very bad communication, on such an important issue as not having a hard copy.

If it wasn't for RMC then we would be none the wiser apart from the propagander machine.
