Time taken to do redirections

There are two duties in my office that have over 60 redirections each as they are close to a university.

These can take up to 30 minutes to do but when I asked the planner if this would be taken into account when running the new pegasus they said no but would make a note of it.

How can 30 minutes not be factored into the duty.

Is this the shape of things to come?

Pegasus only plans the outdoor delivery. I assume they do the redirections indoors.

IIRC the indoor planning value for redirections averages at 30 seconds each.

Sounds about right based on what you said about 60 taking up to 30mins.

Ive got 64 at the moment and they take me about 20-25 minutes average.

Moved to Blue Shirts.

Perhaps when we finally get details on the indoor measuring tools and processes we can say definitively whether they are included or not - they should be but my initial feeling is they wont be.

I have about 60-70 at the moment although at one point a couple of years ago I had 128 :shock: I do 30 mins less IPS to compensate for this.

Err i ve got 24 and take 10 mins and i thought i was being hard done by :nervous

I do 30 mins less IPS to compensate for this.

You can only do so much in the EIGHT HOURS RM provide for you, Weather its extra ips extra redirections or whatever.Any extra you have to do ,the time must come from somewhere and usually it comes from the delivery.So either book ot or cut off. :nana

I have 2 redirections on my round... Although I think one finished today. And neither of them get any mail.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

Have to agree.

If you don't have time just CUT OFF. Tends to focus the DOMs mind.

Most of the year I've TWO redirections with nothing for either addressee most days :Very Happy but overall my duty takes longer than others in the office. :sad:
