Trains and Full Uniform

Post by proper postie »

Do you get charged when you go on a train in full Postal uniform? I've had to do it twice and both times each way the ticket collector just said hello and walked by me.Is this common?

I know the bus used to be free but not trains!

It must be your honest face.
He knew that a trustworthy postie like yourself would have a ticket for sure. No need to check.

It's always worth a try, but the suitcases, wife, kids and seaside destination meant I had to buy a ticket.

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

I've had the pleasure of calling Stormproof a work colleague ( early in my sentence ) - and I'll say no more :shhhhh :shhhhh :shhhhh ( cos I have nothing else to say :left: ...but she was very helpful to a newbie like me, and someone you can rely on to have a back bone )

lol... The bus drivers always refused to take my money when I first started so I assumed this was a 'perk' of the job. Then one day I got on as usual, nodded at the driver and sat down...the driver shouted "are you gonna pay or what!"
