Been thinking about all the new changes,and just cannot see how you can get all done within a 8 hour shift.

lets assume this new deal goes through.
CDV come in etc.

Your walk will be 4 hours say,
then you will have to deliver all the oversize packets,all the Tracked items and all the oversize Specials,So be genourous to RM alow 1 hour,

So we now up to 5 hours,
you then need travel time to get to your walk and back 15 min each way-say ,you then come back for your meal releif 40 min and go back out again another 30 min.You then need time to load van back up say 15 min,oh forgot to allow time for refueling and veichle checks say 20 min total.

your hours used now stand at 6.5 hours.

So this leaves you with 1.5 hours to get your mail prep it in redirections ,deads ,bundle up ,and que up to get your specials and to do ips all within 1.5 hours.
Guess this is why you will need to be in the top 10 percent .
I cannot see how this will work,1 postie doing everything.Unless the plan is to have longer shifts ?

After they install the Walk Sequencing Machines they will be installing Time Sequencing Machines, so that you can travel back in time at the end of your shift and deliver anything you've got left.

Take away your travelling and breaks etc, and whatever is left is the amount of work you'll be given.

The various tools will be used to give you 6.5 hrs or whatever worth of work.

In theory.

Any doubts about this, just vote NO.

They want the extra to be done on OT. It's non-pensionable pay and saves them hiring more staff. Don't fall for it, ask for a round you can actually do in your time.

1. Driver want the docket - he takes partner back to DO and then goes back out.

2. Non Driver wants docket - Manager has too manage it either by sending another driver (who wants docket) out to swap vehicles or by arranging a pick up point and time with the non driver when he has finished what he can do in the time available without a vehicle.

Only if that is what your office wants and more importantly IF the workplan allows.
If you do not get your second 40% of WSM until 0900 or later or if you have no work in your D.O before 0600 then you can more or less kiss goodbye to your 4 day week.

Who on delivery would seriously want a longer delivery to have a 4 day week?
Our PHG's used to work a 4 day week and they say it took a day to get over the 4 days. And that is sitting on your arse doing nowt all day.
The 4 day week isn't a brilliant idea.
And anyone who thinks it is, ain't thought it through.

Or just bully both and say vic and bob can do it why not you!. This is why this agreement is a failed agreement for it did not address the bullying issue to our satisfaction!.

4 febreze two bottles a week out of the first line fix should do it!.
