managers booking overtime
Can anybody tell me if a manager can book over time for ips, as our manager does it about 4 times a week. The manager also has a partner who does ips aswell,it just seems a bit strange.

Re: managers being paid overtime
We will have to wait till a manager reads the posts we do have a few on here. However if they are in a salaried role then I can't see how they can.flagaman wrote:can anybody tell me if a manager can book overtime for themselves for doing ips, because our manager does it two or three times a week.
Salaried roles are paid a fixed rate and not for the number of hours they work.

they take it as time off but if it goes over a long period and they can't get to take the time owing then they get paid

Re: managers booking overtime
You started a thread already on a similar subject. I think the answers will be the same however I will merge both.

Re: managers being paid overtime
who then questions their ot as they do with us
how can they justify performance issues if they have to do postmans work
and they must be pretty slow if its causing ot
ours also caught cut /tipping splitting mailsort preping pt duties and even prepin d2d to make sure ptimer does them
not on otime though they think its only to push us and get us out the door quicker
much to my amusement when i point out nationally mgmnt want later starts
