Giving Up

Reading the posts on here over the last few days, I get the feeling that people are giving up. We are all talking like its a done deal. wheres the fight gone? come on guys and gals we need to get back up there and fight for our rights as human beings. dont let them pull us down. we are the people who make RM work, without us there would be no RM so come on, chins up and swords and what ever else ( no rude comments please ) lets show them, WE WILL NOT GIVE UP WITHOUT A FIGHT.

I couldn't agree more! We should be pointing out the problems with this deal, and trying to convince people that there IS an alternative to voting yes. Far too many people are believing the pathetic arguments like "well, what do you think will happen if it's a no vote"; "RM won't wait for us to re-negotiate. They'll just bring it in anyway via EA"; "if it doesn't get voted in, we'll be straight back on Strike"; etc., etc.. Whatever happened to a free and honest vote?

If you genuinely believe that it's a good deal. Then by all means, vote yes. But please DON'T vote for it, because you're afraid of what'll happen if you don't! Either it's a good deal, or it isn't. If it isn't (and I strongly believe that it's a disasterous deal), THEN VOTE NO!

Remember: United we stand, divided we fall. If we stick together, we can beat them all!!!!!

hardly a surprise when you have the CWU top table,trying to con it's members into voting for less than satisfactory aggrement

I cannot understand why, my office especially , just dont seem to care. I most days go in and raise points i have read on here and most seem to just shrug thier shoulders and say ' im not really bothered'. I could hit them.
the only info our office has had is a leaflet from the union and a two min WTL from our manager who didnt even know the D2D payment was p/rata . how can you turn a offices opinion around unless they are told the truth. I do my best but am flogging a dead horse i think. But im not giving up. at least i will be able to sleep at night.

Everybody should have had the agreement within the first week of it being finalized. At the moment the only people that know whats going on are me and you that use RMC.
The rest of the staff are being fed with whatever their doms or reps are telling them.

I have been telling everyone what is happening in my DO and have printed the agreement for them and am glad to say that most of the office will be voting no.

It is disgusting that we still have not had the agreement.

Personally i think the delay in sorting this whole issue out is deliberate by the cwu officials and royal mail as they seem to be hoping that the fuss will die down by the time we get to vote and by this time everyone will have got used to what they have proposed. WEll not me. I still have in the front of my mind what is really going on and will definately be voting NO

I'm having the same problem with some of them at my office, especially the rural guys who reckon nothing will change. Being female I know nothing apparently
