ive been told we are going to monday to friday on delivery (1 rotated day off) and all satday duties will be s/a only this creates more full time ,4 day weeks and creates extra earnings under s/a

has anyone else seen this

Never heard of that,i know of offices who have sat as SA and they are mon-fri,but not what you've said.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Been on SA SAT for years,only DA , BR & Northern Ireland work that way,most people come in on SAT but if you want it off gets covered on docket.Never had any problems,tho wiv longer SATS that might change.

Jobs are/have been going hand over fist since 2003, and without providing a single scrap of benefit to the remaining staff. At least this way, the remaining staff will be recieving the benefit of whole weekends with their families.
In this latest shambolic deal the CWU have saddled us with, they make it absolutely clear that they agree with RM management that there will be fewer people working for the company in the near future, meaning sloggers like us, why not gain something for a change, rather than have this lose/lose scenario forever?
