New management styles-bullying and intimidation

Post by tich0166 »

When is action going to be taken about the ridiculous amounts of suspensions and sackings for trivial things such as genuine mistakes?

I asked the question at the Bournemouth briefing as to whether there would be an Independent enquiry into bullying managers as promised during the Industrial action.
There will be no independent enquiry. The leadership hope this will be addressed through the 'new realtionship'

When Hell freezes over, mate. This scummy union is only interested in maintaining it's position at the compromise table, where they can compromise the position of postal workers all the more. :evil/mad

yes...it's absolutely shocking.
young guys - quiet guys, who on the odd occassion must finish on time to get home for their family, then bang - charged with wilful delay and sacked. and what does bob gibson's department do about it?

i won't hold my breath.

i wonder how many people are taking RM to tribunal for unfair dismissal.

i reckon it's time HQ were doing something

It's a despicable company we work for, with some very wicked people in managerial positions, and I mean wicked in the true sense of the word.

Its now blatantly obvious that an official RM policy been instigated to dissmiss as many full timers/permenant contract holders for the most trivial of miss-demeanours, things which in the past would have been dealt with by an official warning or just a stern word.
Its a pity we cant get a tame manager to post up a copy of the actual policy briefing 'cos i'm damn sure it must exist.

Says it all really backtracking and will not address the very real reason some members now feel sold out.

The sole reason I striked last year was for bullying and harassment by management and really believed that most felt the same!! Now I feel this has been TOTALLY overlooked infact ignored.. I truley feel alone on this and actually give up.. I have got to a point where I dont give a s**t about work and certainly the people I work with not worth a s**t and deserve all they get and they will... And even at my expense I think I will enjoy to watch them all fall... I almost support managment intimidation just to see how far the twats I work with will go!! I doubt they will make old bones, they just have no stregth for self respect, dignity or wellbeing let alone retirement!! or to maintain a healthy work life through achievable work loads.. So go ahead kill em off!! Profits for the few are far more important!! :cuppa Thats where we are at!!!!! :cry

I don't get this either. We went out over working conditions, bullying and intimidation, yet everyone has conveniently forgot all about that.

This whole d2d issue has made everyone forget why we went out in the first place.

Hats off to cwu and rm by the way, truly excellent diversion tactics they colluded on.
